Applications in the prescribed form are invited for filing up of the following eight
vacant posts of Assistant Professors (Group “A”) in this Institution by direct recruitment
basis in the Pay Level of 10 (Pre-revised Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100 with AGP of
Rs.6000/- plus other allowances
Assistant Professors : 8 Posts
Age Limit for direct recruits: Not exceeding 35 years (Relaxable for Government
servants. SC/ST and other special categories of persons in accordance with the
instructions or orders issued by the Central Government)
Degree of B.V. Sc. & A.H./B.V.SC
Master’s Degree in relevant subjects
Should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) or the Tamil Nadu-Puducherry Joint State Level Eligibility Test.
Registration with the Veterinary Council of India / State Veterinary Council.
All applications duly completed along with a Non-Refundable Fee of Rs.1,000/ (Rupees One Thousand only) only in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of
ragacovas payable at Puducherry (DD for Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for SC ST candidates) should be sent to “The Dean, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Veterinary Education and Research, Kurumbapet, Puducherry 605 009” on or before 5.30 P.M.
on, 13.05.2022
Candidates may download the prescribed application from the Government
website (i) www.py.gov.in, (i) recruitment.puducherry.gov.in and (i) www.river.edu.in
and apply in the said format along with the requisite copies of certificates and other
testimonials through proper channel with No Objection Certificate. Otherwise, the
applications will not be considered. Applications should reach the Dean, Rajiv Gandhi
Institute of Veterinary Education & Research, Kurumbapet, Puducherry 605 009 latest
by 5.30 p.m. on 13.05.2022.
