Requirement of Junior Research Fellows (02 – Positions) for the TANII 2021-2022 Project on “Identification of modified/ altered/ degraded meat derivatives of deer species to the species level using high throughput DNA High Resolution Melt” at AIWC,Vandalur for a period of one year on contractual basis.

Age limit for the Junior Research Fellows is 28 years as on 01.01.2022 but age relaxation will be considered as per Government of Tamil Nadu norms for reserved category candidates.
Application should be in the prescribed format, duly signed and should be accompanied by self-attested copies of documents on educational qualifications, research experience, UGC/CSIR/GATE certificate (if any), extracurricular activities, date of birth, mark sheets of all examinations, community certificate (if seeking relaxation as per Government of Tamil Nadu rules), etc.
Junior Research Fellowship (Vacancy Position-2) on contractual basis for a period of one year (Project based positions)
M.Sc./M.Tech in Biotechnology (or) Molecular Biology & Genetics (or) Genetic Engineering
Essential Qualification: Masters’ Degree in above disciplines with a minimum 60% aggregate marks and above from a recognized university.(Preferably UGC NET Passed)
One Year Experience
Desirable Qualification: Good command over written and spoken English. Interest to carry out both lab-based and field-based research.
Age Limit : 28 Years
Age Relaxation : The upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/ Women/ BC/MBC and Physically challenged category.
