WALK – IN INTERVIEW FOR THE POST OF PROJECT TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR ICMR PROJECT
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following temporary post in the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funded projects as detailed below functioning in the Department of Animal Biotechnology, Faculty of Basic Sciences, Madras Veterinary College, Chennai-600 007. The essential qualifications and upper age limit for applying to the posts are as detailed hereunder

How to apply: Candidates possessing the required essential qualifications, experience, and age criteria may send their typewritten applications in the enclosed application format, along with supporting documents in a single PDF file, to [email protected]. The subject of the email should be “Application for the post of Project Technical Support – I or Project Technical Support – III or Field Laboratory Attendant for an ICMR project.” The cut-off date for the receipt of applications is 07.03.2025 upto 5 PM. Applications received after the cutoff date and time will be summarily rejected.
Terms and Conditions:
- Separate application along with supporting enclosures needs to be sent by email for each post.
- Only shortlisted candidates for each advertised post will be called (by email) for the written examination, followed by an interview for the above
mentioned posts on 16.04.2025 at 10:00 AM in the Department of Animal Biotechnology, Faculty of Basic Sciences, Madras Veterinary
College, Chennai-600 007. - No TA / DA will be paid for the candidates attending written exam and interview.
- Mere attending the interview does not guarantee them the appointment and the selection will be based purely on merit basis.
- The position is initially for the period of one year and may be extended on satisfactory performance and is co-terminus with the project. The
above said post is purely contractual for the duration offered. - Candidates are requested to produce all original certificates in support of age, qualifications, community, photo ID card, publications and
experience etc. at the time of interview. - Working personnel are requested to attend the interview with no objection letter from the present employer.
- The dean/Selection committee has the right to accept / reject any application without assigning any reason thereof. Selection will be made as per
the norms of ASRR, TANUVAS. - The candidates selected cannot claim for regular appointments under TANUVAS
- Age relaxation is admissible as per government guidelines
- The dean, Faculty of Basic Sciences, Madras Veterinary College Campus, TANUVAS reserves the rights to cancel the recruitment or readvertise the posts, without assigning any reason thereof, no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
- Canvassing and bringing pressure in any form for short listing, interview and employment will be a disqualification and the candidate will be
barred from selection process. - The selected candidate must provide the physical fitness certificate from a Medical Officer in the rank of Civil Surgeon.
