1.Qualification :
An Industrial Training Institute Certificate (ITI) / National Trade Certificate (NTC) / National Apprenticeship Certificate
(NAC) in the appropriate trade.
- Age Limit : Candidates should not have completed 38 years of age as on 01.07.2025. (Including the enhancement
given below**)

Qualification :
Must Possess Minimum General Educational
Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C. Public
Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for
admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to
College Courses of Studies.
Age Limit*
Scale of Pay :Rs.19500 (Level 8) + other allowances as
per norms.
Junior Assistant-01 Post
Qualification :
Must Possess Minimum General Educational
Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C. Public
Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for
admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to
College Courses of Studies.
Age Limit*
Scale of Pay :Rs.19500 (Level 8) + other allowances as
per norms.
Typist-01 Post
Qualification:
Must possess minimum General Educational
Qualification viz., must have passed the SSLC. Public
Examination with eligibility for admission to Higher
Secondary Courses of studies (or) college courses of
studies.
1.Higher / Senior grade in Tamil & English (or)
2.Higher/Senior grade in Tamil and Lower/Junior grade
in English (or)
3.Higher/Senior grade in English & Lower / Junior
grade in Tamil.
Computer Qualification : Applicants should have
passed the “Certificate Course in Computer on Office
Automation” awarded by the Technical Education
Department.
Note : Applicants who do not possess the said
qualification (viz. Certificate Course in Computer on
Office Automation) conducted by the Technical
Education Department may also apply. If selected, they
should acquire the qualification within the period of their
probation.

Office Assistant-01
Qualification: 8th passed

recruitment has been enhanced by 2 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs.15700 (Level 1) + other allowances as
per norms
** As per G.O. (Ms.) No. 91, Human Resources Management Department,
Dt.13.09.2021, the Maximum Age Limit prescribed for appointment by direct
recruitment has been enhanced by 2 years.
- (No Maximum age limit for candidates belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, SC(A) (W)(DW),
STs, MBCs/DNCs, BCs, and BCMs who possess a General Educational Qualification
which is higher than the Minimum General Educational Qualification. (i.e. who have
passed P.U.C/H.S.C/Diploma/Degree) - Explanation: “No maximum age limit” shall mean that the applicants should not have
completed 60 years of age either on the date of Notification or at the time of
selection/appointment to the post.
