WALK-IN INTERVIEW FOR THE POSITION OF ONE SENIOR PROJECT
ASSOCIATE AND ONE LABORATORY ASSISTANT
A walk-in interview will be conducted for filling up of temporary position of one
Senior Project Associate and one Laboratory Assistant to work in the Self-finance scheme at
Poultry Disease Diagnosis and Surveillance Laboratory, VCRI Campus, Namakkal.
The post is purely on temporary need basis for a period of three years and the
recruited man power should not claim any regular employment thereafter. The qualifications
and remuneration are as follows:-

i) Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/
M.V.Sc.
with
ii) 4 Years experience in research and development in
Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and
Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and
services
OR
Doctoral degree in Science/ MD/ MS from a recognized
University or equivalent
Emoluments Rs. 42,000/- + HRA
Not more than 40 Years as on closing date of application.
Age relaxation is allowed up to 5 years for
SC/ST/PH/OBC/Women candidates or as per the rules and
regulations in force
Laboratory Assistant – One (Temporary)
B.Sc./ Graduate Degree in Biotechnology / Microbiology/ Life
sciences /Agricultural Sciences
Emoluments Rs. 20,000/- + HRA
Not more than 50 Years as on closing date of application.
Age relaxation is allowed up to 5 years for
SC/ST/PH/OBC/Women candidates or as per the rules and
regulations in force.
Other terms and conditions:
Qualified and interested candidates may appear for a written examination followed by
an interview on 07.10.2024 at 10.00 A.M. to be held at the Poultry Disease Diagnosis
and Surveillance Laboratory, Veterinary College and Research Institute Campus,
Namakkal – 637 002. The reporting time for the candidate 07.10.2024 at 09.00 A.M.
and the candidates reporting after 10 A.M will not be allowed for the written test.
No TA/ DA will be paid for the candidates preferring to attend the interview.
Candidates are to make their own arrangements for their stay at Namakkal.
Mere attending the interview does not guarantee them the appointment and the
selection will be based purely on merit basis. Candidates are requested to produce all
original certificates (UG Degree, PG Degree, PhD Degree, age proof, Experience
Certificate, Publications, and any other testimonials that certify their competency to
work in the project) at the time of interview for verification.
The appointment is made purely on temporary basis with a condition to
terminate the appointment without giving any prior notice and the candidates
should not claim any University service.
A MCQ based written test would be conducted for forty minutes duration related to
Veterinary Microbiology and Molecular biology
