As per G.O (Ms).No.91, Human Resources Management (S) Department, dated
13.09.2021, the Maximum Age Limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment
enhanced by 2 years.
Note:
(i) No Maximum age limit for applicants belonging to SCs / SC(A)s, STs,
MBCs/DCs, BCs and Destitute Widows of all castes who possess a General
Educational Qualification which is higher than the Minimum General Educational
Qualification (i.e., who have passed P.U.C / H.S.C / Diploma /Degree).
(ii) “Others” [i.e., Applicants not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs and
BCs] who have put in five years and more of service in the State/Central
Government are not eligible even if they are within the age limit.
(iii) Paragraph 5 of the “Instructions to Applicants” will apply to this recruitment
only for Maximum age limit.
Explanation:
No Maximum age limit shall mean that the applicants should not have completed
60 years of age either on the date of notification or at the time of selection/
appointment to the post.

Minimum General Educational Qualification;
OR
The title of “Tamil Pulavar” recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Explanation:
Minimum General Educational Qualification means:
i) A pass in the SSLC Examination with eligibility for admission to College courses
of studies in the Universities in this State. (11 years course of study)
OR
A pass in the SSLC Examination of this State. (10 years course of study)
Preferential Qualification:-
Provided that, other things being equal, preference shall be given to employees of
Religious Institutions (other than Government Servants) who have put in not
less than 5 years of Service.
