Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) is an autonomous Society under the
Ministry of Power engaged in Research and Development in the fields of generation,
transmission, distribution and operation of electricity supply systems. CPRI acts as
an apex body for initiating and coordinating applied research in electrical power
engineering assisting the electrical industry in product development and in Quality
Assurance. CPRI also serves as an independent Authority for Testing & Certification
of power equipment. The CPRI Head office is situated at Bangalore and its units are
at Bhopal, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Noida, Kolkata, Guwahati and Nasik

BE/B.Tech with First Class in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering /Electronics and Communications Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering with an
aggregate minimum of 65% or 6.84/10 CGPA.
The candidates applying for the post essentially shall posses valid GATE score for the year 2020 / 2021.
Upper Age limit (years) : 30
Salary Rs.44900-142400/-
The selection is on the basis of their valid GATE Score
(2020/2021) in the order of merit.
CPRI reserves the right to fix the cutoff GATE score for
ranking branch wise.
Fee :-
Engineering Officer Gr.1 Rs.200.00
SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/women candidates and CPRI Departmental candidates
are exempted from payment of fees.
