As per orders issued in G.O.(Ms). No.91, Human Resources Management Department,
Dated: 13.09.2021
Candidate shall possess the following qualification on the date of this
notification viz. 29.10.2021
i. A pass in SSLC or its equivalent.
ii. Electrician/Wireman with National Trade Certificate (NTC) (as specified in
Adhoc Rule issued vide G.O.Ms.No.1761, Health and Family Welfare
Department, dated:14.06.1987)
Additional Qualifications / Experience that could be considered for according
preference
Provided that other things being equal, preference shall be given to;
i) Persons who have completed Apprenticeship training (NAC) under the Apprentices Act,
1961.
ii) Persons who possess practical experience in Electrician trade in Automobile – Plant / Factory / Workshop for a period of not less than one year.
Explanation:
Plant / Factory / Workshop shall mean any Establishment or Workshop under the control of the Government / Public / Private Organization registered under Factories Act, 1948.
Selection will be made based on the marks scored by the candidates in their
academic and technical qualification(s) for the post of Skilled Assistant Grade – II
(Electrician Grade – II) duly following the rules of reservation and communal rotation
issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu. There will be no oral test (Interview) for the
post.
Weightage of marks
Cerificate / Diploma Course : 60%
SSLC / 10th Pass : 40%
