Applications are invited to attend a walk-in-interview for the post of
Field Assistant (One) in Veterinary University Training and Research Centre,
Vellore – 632 009 under the Government of Tamil Nadu, Directorate of Tribal
Welfare funded project entitled “Enhancing the livelihood of tribal farmers
through livestock farming in Ranipet district of Tamil Nadu” (GOAT) purely on
contractual basis for one year. The eligible candidates are requested to send their
application in the enclosed proforma along with the scanned copies of the
supporting documents either through email to [email protected] or by
post to Veterinary University Training and Research Centre, Vellore – 632 009 on or
before 10.08.2026. Walk-in interview will be conducted on 11.08.2026 at 11.00 am.
The details of the position are given below:
Rs. 25000/- Per Month for one year (consolidated)
Essential qualifications:
Any Undergraduate degree in any subjects
Preferential qualification*:
Computer knowledge in handling MS Office,
Driving skills and experience in rural
livelihood projects
Age limits: Maximum age is 35 years (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST
and three years for OBC). Minimum age should be 18 years as on date of
interview.
The post is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis for one
year. The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this institute.
The interview of the eligible candidate will be held on 11.08.2026 at
11.00AM in the office of the Veterinary University Training and Research
Centre, Collectorate Campus, Sathuvachari, vellore – 632 009. The
candidate should be compulsorily bring the duly filled in application form (as
per the format annexed) with all the original certificates of educational
qualifications, date of birth certificate, Aadhar card, community certificate
and one set of self-attested photo copies of all the required certificates and
an attested copy of recent passport size photograph pasted on the
application form.
