A walk-in-interview will be conducted for filling up of two numbers of temporary post
of Field Assistant to work with Principal Investigator / Co-Ordinator & Assistant Professor
and Head, Bargur Cattle Research Station, Bargur (BCRS), to work in the TANUVAS
Externally Aided Project – Government of Tamil Nadu – Directorate of Tribal Welfare
Department funded project on “Enhancing the livelihood of Tribal Farmers through Goat
Farming in Bargur and Kadambur hills of Erode District of Tamil Nadu” (S.C.No.23341)
functioning at the Bargur cattle Research Station, Bargur, Erode District. The post is purely
temporary for about two year from the date of recruitment or till the completion of the project
whichever is earlier. The qualifications and remuneration are given below.

Milk Recorder – 1 Post

1. Qualification : Any Degree
2. Gender: Male
3. Age: 21 to 40 years as on 01.05.2026
4. Two wheeler driving license
   Candidates with nativity of Anthiyur,
   Bargur hills, Kadambur hills and Erode
   districts are preferred
   Experience in animal handling is preferred

Salary Rs.20000/-

1. Qualified and interested candidates for these positions may Walk-in for a written
   examination followed by an interview on 18.05.2026 at 11.30 a.m to be held at the
   Bargur Cattle Research Station, Bargur.
2. No TA / DA will be paid for the candidates preferring to attend the interview.
   Candidates are informed to make their own arrangements for attending interview.
3. Mere attending the interview does not guarantee them the appointment and the
   selection will be based purely on merit basis. Candidates are requested to produce all
   original certificates (Degree certificates, Age proof, Driving License, and Experience
   certificate) at the time of interview.
4. Selection will be made as per the norms of ASRR, TANUVAS.
5. The appointment is made purely on temporary basis with a condition to terminate the
   appointment without giving any prior notice and the candidate should not claim any
   University service.
6. Project work requires frequent travel for data collection and to record the body
   measurements of goats in the tribal farmers household / field work in the project area of
   Bargur hills (Anthiyur Taluk) and Kadambur hills (Sathyamangalam Taluk) of Erode
   districts.
