NLC India Limited (NLCIL), a premier ‘NAVRATNA’ Public Sector Enterprise with an Annual Turnover (Consolidated) of INR. 11,947.94 crores (FY. 2021-22) is spreading its wings in the frontiers of Mining (Lignite & Coal), Thermal Power generation and Renewable energy. The Corporate Plan of the Company has many ambitious expansion schemes for massive capacity augmentation in the years to come. To add to its strength
and fuel its growth, the Company is looking for talents in Mining Statutory positions (Group C posts) for its Lignite/Coal Mines located in Neyveli
(Tamil Nadu), Barsingsar Project (Rajasthan) and Talabira-II & III OCP Project (Odisha).

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:-

Junior Overman (Trainee)

1. Diploma in Mining or Mining engineering or other equivalent qualification approved in that behalf by the Central Government and
2. Valid Overman’s Certificate of Competency from DGMS under Coal Mines Regulation 2017 or any certificate in Mining which
   entitled to work as Overman as per Coal Mines Regulation 2017 and
3. Valid First Aid Certificate.

Junior Surveyor (Trainee)

1. Diploma in Mining (or) Diploma in Mining engineering (or) Diploma in Mine Surveying (or) Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering
   (or) National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Surveying and
2. Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency as per CMR 2017

Sirdar (Selection Grade-I)

Diploma or Degree in any subject other than Mining Engineering and

Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS and

Valid First Aid Certificate.
(or)

Diploma in Mining with Overman Competency Certificate issued by DGMS and

Valid First Aid Certificate.

CRUCIAL DATE:
Crucial date for claim of SC/ ST/ OBC (NCL)/ EWS status for upper age limit, fee concession, reservation etc., where not specified otherwise, will be the first of the month in which the notification is issued (i.e. 01/11/2022).

S1 grade & SG1 grade-UR / EWS-30, OBC-33, SC/ ST-35

PAY SCALES

S1 grade -31,000 – 1,00,000

SG1 grade -26,000 – 3% – 1,10,000

PLACE OF POSTING
Selected candidates are liable to be initially posted to the location which the candidates have applied for. However, they will be required to work in any Unit / Area / Place situated in India and abroad under the control of NLC India Limited or in any Joint Venture / Associate
/ Subsidiary company of NLC India Limited, to which they may be posted.
