Age : Maximum 55 years.
Salary : Rs.1,00,000/- per month (consolidated)
Essential Qualifications : Possession of Certificate of Competency as Master of
Foreign Going issued or recognized by the Indian
Maritime Administration at least five years service in
merchant ships which include 1 year service as Master.
(Or)
Possession of Certificate of Competency as MEO Class I
issued or recognized by the Government of India with at
least five years service in merchant ships including at
least one year in the rank of Chief Engineer.
(Or)
Possession of Certificate of Competency as Master
Foreign Going / Chief Engineer (MEO) (Class I) under
the provisions of the STCW Convention issued or
recognized by the Indian Maritime Administration.
Desirable:
Assessment Examination and Certification of Seafarers
(AECS) Course Certificate.
Sound Knowledge of STCW / IMO / DGS Rules and
Regulations.
Candidate should Read, Write and Speak English & Tamil
Language.
Preferable:
Vertical Integration Course for Trainers (VICT) Earlier
(TOTA) Training of Trainers Assessors Course for faculty
members.
