The Government of Tamil Nadu vide G.O. (D).No. 18 Finance (OP-M) Department dated 19.03.2022 has constituted a Litigation Advisory and oversight Committee (LAOC) and created Two posts of Legal Officer in Legal Cell, Finance Department on consolidated pay to exclusively monitor High Risk Litigation and ordered that they will be paid upto Rs. 1,00,000/- per month based on their qualification and experience. The said posts are on contract basis (Purely Temporary).

The applicant must be a
- Practicing Advocate
- Employees of Law firms
- Legal researchers
- Employees in Legal departments of Companies
or
- Academicians / Teachers or any other person with Bachelor / Post Graduate degree in Law from a recognised University
- The applicant should not have completed the age of 35 years as on 01.05.2022 and shall have at least 3 years of experience in Legal field.
All applications should be accompanied by an essay written by the applicants in English or Tamil of 1000 — 1500 words on any one of the following topics.
- Contribution of Supreme Court in expanding the scope of Fundamental Rights. or
- The Power of Judicial Review.
