Walk-in-interview has been scheduled for engagement of 01 Project Assistant at ICAR-IVRI, Izatnagar in an SERB funded project entitled “Transgenic chicken for expression of
Leukemia Inhibitory Factor (LIF): A potential cytokine in stem cell biology and
therapy”. The engagement is purely temporary on contractual basis and will be liable for
termination at any time in case of unsatisfactory performance. There will be no provision of
absorption/reemployment in ICAR or ICAR-IVRI on termination of the project. The selection process is as per Office Memorandum of SERB, No. SB/S9/Z-07/2020 dated 20-Aug-2020.

Essential Qualification: Graduation/ Diploma in Biotechnology, Microbiology or Any
stream of Life Sciences.
Desirable Qualification: Preference would be given to candidates with research/ experience
evidenced in documents.
Upper Age limit: 50 years
Emoluments: Rs. 20,000/- per month plus HRA
