Applications are invited for filling up of the following post at Thiruchuli Block Office
on contract basis for a period of one year.The post is purely on temporary basis. There
will be no continuation

Aspirational Block Fellow-01

Salary Rs.55000/-

Age Limit:
 Should be between 18 and 30.

Qualification / Eligible Criteria :
 Post Graduate in any discipline from a reputed institution.
 Should be conversant with English language.
 Should possess data analysis and presentation skill.
 Should be conversant with use of social media.
 Should possess project management skills.
 Experience of working / internship with a development organisation.
 Self driven with good communication skill.
 Knowing the local language of respective Aspirational Block.
 Should have passed preliminary exam conducted by UPSC for Civil Service
Examination or Preliminary exam conducted by TNPSC for Group I exam
in the last five years.
Note : Preference will be given to candidates who have completed their higher
education in development / rural stream like sociology / child Development / Public
Health / Social Work

 District Administration may follow the following process to select the candidates.

Role & Responsibilities:
The Aspirational Blocks Fellows will be positioned as a critical link between
the Block level Officials and NITI Aayog. Their primary responsibilities will include:
1) Collaborating with Block level Officials to design and execute development
strategies aligned with ABP thematic areas.
2) Conducting regular field visits to assess project implementation, address
challenges, and collectground-level insights.
3) Analyzing data and providing evidence-based recommendations to BLOS,
District level Officialsto optimize developmental initiatives.
4) Organizing workshops, awareness campaigns, and skill-building programs to
empower the localcommunity.
5) Keeping States and NITI abreast with the issues, challenges and need for
support
