Auroville Foundation (AVF) at Auroville, Tamil Nadu is an autonomous body functioning under the
administrative control of Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of
India established in 1991. AVF invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals for the recruitment
of the following Administrative Staff vacancies on contractual basis (temporary). Interested

Details of Qualification, Experience, Requirements of the Posts:-
Finance and Administrative Officer
- Chartered Accountant
- A First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce in Accountancy /
Finance or equivalent in grade from a recognized University or
institute or A Master’s Degree in Commerce / MBA (Finance)from a
recognizedUniversity orinstitutewith at least 5 0 % marks or equivalent
grade.
Section officer
- A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in any discipline from any
recognized Institute/ University. - Proficiency in Computer Operation, noting and drafting
Accounts Officer
- A First-Class Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce in Accountancy /
Finance or equivalent in grade from a recognized University or
institute or A Master’s Degree in Commerce / MBA (Finance)from a
recognized University or institute with at least 50% marks or
equivalent grade. - Proficiency in Computer Operation and Computer application viz.
word processing, Spread Sheet and computer – based accounting
software.
Assistant Section Officer
- A First-Class Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in any discipline
from any recognized Institute/ University or A Master’s Degree or its
equivalent inany discipline from any recognized Institute/ University
with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade - Knowledge of Computer Applications viz., Spreadsheet, Word
Processing etc
Upper Division Clerk
- Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in any discipline from any
recognized Institute/ University. - Speed in English Typing @ 35 wpm OR Speed inHindi Typing @
30 wpm. - Proficiency in Computer operations viz., Spreadsheet, Word
Processing etc
Accountant
- A First-Class Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce in Accountancy /
Finance or equivalent in grade from a recognized University or
institute or A Master’s Degree in Commerce / MBA (Finance)from a
recognized University orinstitute with at least50% marks or equivalent
grade.
Knowledge of computer application viz. word processing, Spread
Sheet and computer – based accounting software
Assistant Accounts Officer
- A First-Class Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce in Accountancy /
Finance or equivalent in grade from a recognized University or
institute or A Master’s Degree in Commerce / MBA (Finance)from a
recognized University orinstitute with at least50% marks or equivalent
grade. - Knowledge of computer application viz. word processing, Spread
Sheet and computer – based accounting software
Assistant-cum Cashier
- A First-Class Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in any discipline
from any recognized Institute/ University. - A minimum typing speed of 35 w.p.m. Knowledge of Computer
Applications viz., Spreadsheet, Word Processing etc
Multi-tasking Staff (Driver & Peon)
- Senior Secondary (10+2) Pass from any recognized Board
- Possession of a Valid Commercial Driving License for Light/
Medium/ Heavy Vehicles issued by the Competent authority having
no adverse endorsement. - Knowledge of motor mechanism (the candidate should be able to
remove minor defects in vehicles). - Experience of driving motor vehicles for at least 3 years
A signed hard copy of the application along with self-attested copies of certificates and necessary
