Ward Boys Contractual Basis-(05) Five Posts
Un-Reserved(i) Should have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination and should possess the ability to converse in English and Hindi/Tamil fluently.(ii)  Should be willing to carry out all works related to cadets well being and hostel maintenance.(i)  Ex-servicemen will be given preference.
(ii) Candidates with higher qualification from a recognised Institution.
(iii) Previous experience in Military Training Institution/ Military Schools/ Sainik schools/ Boarding Schools.
(iv) Candidates with proficiency in games as well as in co-curricualr activities.(iv) Aptitude for Residential school life style. (v) Achievement in sports/ Art/ Music/ Co Curricular activities. Between 21 to 50 years of age.Rs.20,000/-consolidated p.m. * ST- Scheduled Tribe,   SC- Scheduled Caste,  U/R – Un-Reserved.
NOTE :  In case of non-availability of suitable candidates from ‘Reserved Category’ the vacancy will be filled from amongst the General Category.  So General Category candidates may also apply for Reserved posts.

8.         Last date for receipt of Filled-in-Application along with said enclosures in the school is 05 Nov 2022.  Application received late (including postal delay)/ without deposition of application fee/ not in prescribed application form format will be summarily rejected without any intimation. No correspondence will be entertained.

Applications should be accompanied by a  non-refundable Demand Draft  for Rs.300/- (Gen & OBC) and Rs.200/- (SC/ST) drawn in favour of ‘PRINCIPAL, SAINIK SCHOOL, AMARAVATHINAGAR’ payable at State Bank of India (SBI),  Amaravathinagar (Code 2191) Udumalpet Taluk, Tiruppur District.
Call Letters
Only short listed candidates will be called for selection process.  The names of shortlisted candidates will be published in the School Website.  The schedule of conduct of selection process will be intimated by email/SMS to the shortlisted candidates.  Call letters also will be despatched to the candidates by Registered post in the self-addressed envelopes submitted along with application.  Applicants are to clearly mention their Email ID and Mobile Number in the Application Form to enable the School to communicate schedule of selection to the shortlisted candidates.  No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the selection process.  Candidates will have to make their own arrangements for boarding, lodging and transport for attending the selection process. 
Structure of Selection Process :
Selection process will consist of following –(a) For S. No. 1 – Personal Interview.(b) For S. No. 2 to 6 – Written examination, Practicals, and Personal Interview.A candidate will be required to score minimum 33% marks in written examination to qualify for the next step of the selection process.  However, the minimum required marks may be increased upto 50% by the Board of Officers to shortlist the candidates for the next step of selection process.  Weightage for higher qualification and experience will be given.
Other Conditions:
(a)       Employment conditions/Service Rules are in consonance with Sainik Schools Society Rules and Regulations in vogue and as amended from time to time.
(b)       Selected candidates should be ready to accept additional responsibilities usual to a residential public school.
(c)        The School administration reserves the right to increase/ decrease/ cancel the vacancy due to administrative/ policy reasons without assigning any reasons whatsoever.  No formal intimation will be given to applicants.
