National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB)
Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, as nodal agency for technical support to PMMSY has proposed to offer internship programme for the students pursuing/ or Graduates/Post Graduates who have acquired the degree on or after 1st April, 2020 for Internship under Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY)
at National Fisheries Development Board, Hyderabad.

Method of recruitment : Based on the Marks scored in Graduation and Post Graduation
Eligibility :-
Bonafide students of any recognized University/ Institution within India or abroad, fulfilling following conditions are eligible to apply for the internship:
a) Should be a citizen of India.
b) Students pursuing/completed Bachelors in Fisheries Science / Masters in Fisheries Science are eligible.
Stipend during the Internship :
Upto Four weeks- Nil
Upto Eight Weeks- Rs. 9,000/-PM
Upto Twelve Weeks- Rs. 9,000/- P.M
Topics for Internship : Various tasks under PMMSY/FMPIS/Institutional Projects/NFFBB/NERC activities and other NFDB
Projects/activities such as;
- Preparation of SCPs/DPRs for beneficiary & non beneficiary components under PMMSY, Project appraisal and management, etc
- Training & Capacity Building
- Programme Monitoring and Evaluation – Data
collection, consolidation & MIS reports, etc - Support to NFDB under PMMSY:
a. NFFBB – Quality Seed – Bhubaneshwar
b. NERC – Quality seed – Guwahati - Documentation of best practices
- Disease diagnostic and quality testing labs
- Entrepreneurship development
- Social Media & outreach activities
Location of Internship Programme :
NFDB, Hyderabad/NFFBB, Bhubaneshwar /NERC, Guwahati.
