Educational Qualification:-
Essential
a) Class X Pass
b) Diploma or Degree holder in Carnatic
Music from a recognized institution
c) Should be able to accompany dance
performances and dance dramas of Kalakshetra
d) Should be able to read and write music
notations
e) Should be able to handle the practical and
theory classes
Desirable
a) Knowledge of a South Indian Language
b) BH artiste of AIR
Preference will be given to Carnatic
Vocal/Mridangam Artist
Age Limit : 30 Years

General instructions to the candidates
a. Age relaxation would be applicable to candidates belonging to SC community
who apply for the above post as per the prevailing rules of GOI. Date for
determining the upper age limit will be the closing date prescribed for receipt
of application.
b. Kalakshetra Foundation reserves the right to cancel/restrict/modify the
recruitment process if need so arises, without assigning any reason. No
correspondences whatsoever will be entertained from the candidates
regarding conduct and result of test/interview and reason for not being called
for test/interview.
c. The number of vacancies as indicated in the notification may vary depending
upon the vacancies exists at the time of final selection.
d. Mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not entitle any right in respect of
the interview/selection. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test and
or interview.
e. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
f. Copies of self-attested testimonials along with the Community Certificate
issued by the authority concerned are to be attached with the application form.
g. Applications received without self-attested copies of documents mentioned
above will be summarily rejected.
